Terms of service
These terms govern your use of PageStax (the “Service”), a Shopify app provided by EDIUD LLC (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the Service you agree to these terms on behalf of the store you install it on. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.
1. The Service
PageStax lets you design and publish pages on your Shopify store, and set up offers, journeys (funnels), reviews and A/B tests, with analytics. It also offers a command-line tool that works with agent tokens you create. Features available to you depend on your plan. We may improve, change or retire features over time.
2. Accounts and access
- Your PageStax account is your Shopify store. You install and sign in through Shopify, and you must have authority to install apps on that store.
- You are responsible for activity under your store’s installation, including actions taken with agent tokens you create. Keep tokens secret and revoke any you no longer need.
3. Acceptable use
You will not use the Service to:
- break the law, or publish content that is misleading, fraudulent, infringing, hateful or otherwise unlawful;
- attempt to access other merchants’ data or parts of the Service you are not authorised to use;
- interfere with, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service, or bypass plan limits;
- resell or sublicense the Service without our written agreement.
4. Your content and store data
You keep all rights to the content you create and to your store data. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display it only to provide the Service to you. How we handle personal information is described in the privacy policy.
5. Honesty features are tools, not guarantees
PageStax is designed not to show commerce claims without a real mechanism behind them — for example, stock, discount and delivery messages come from your Shopify data, and offers are checked against your store before they go live. These are tools to help you, not guarantees. You remain responsible for everything you publish, including product claims, prices, offers and discounts, and for complying with laws that apply to your store, such as consumer protection and privacy laws.
6. Changes to your theme
Some publishing options change your store’s theme, such as adding product page templates or replacing your home page. PageStax keeps a copy of what it replaces and restores it when you unpublish. We recommend keeping your own theme backups.
7. Plans, fees and the free trial
- PageStax has a Free plan and paid plans (Starter $19, Growth $49 and Scale $129, in US dollars per 30 days). Current prices and limits are shown on our pricing section and in the app.
- Paid plans are billed through Shopify’s app billing as a recurring charge on your Shopify invoice. You approve each subscription in Shopify. Applicable taxes are handled by Shopify.
- Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You are charged only if the subscription is still active when the trial ends.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
- If we change a plan’s price, the new price applies to your subscription only after you approve it in Shopify.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available and working, but we do not offer a service level agreement. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or problems with Shopify or our hosting providers.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. Analytics and A/B test results are statistical estimates, not guarantees of future sales or performance.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, EDIUD LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, sales or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling it; billing stops with your Shopify subscription. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if required by law or by Shopify. After uninstall, your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will revise the date at the top, and if a change is material we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the registered seat of EDIUD LLC, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country requires otherwise.
